Here at Mentor Nissan, we are extremely proud of our inventory of new Nissan cars for sale. Whether you are looking for a new 2018 Nissan Altima or a sporty Nissan Rogue, we have got them all. Today we add another reason to be proud of our vehicle selection, as the 2018 Nissan LEAF has been given the 5-Year Cost to Own Award for the electric vehicle segment by Kelley Blue Book.

We often talk to customers about all the great features in the Nissan LEAF, like how it is a 100-percent electric car and has a starting range of 151 miles per charge. When it comes to tech, Bluetooth® connectivity, Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay™, and Android Auto™ are all offered. A slew of safety features like Nissan ProPILOT Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert come integrated. The one question that every potential car buyer asks Mentor Nissan, though, is “How much does it cost?”

That can be a difficult question to answer, because not only do you have to factor in the cost of the vehicle itself, but you need to think about insurance costs, fuel costs, maintenance and repair costs, and vehicle depreciation. Because of all that, it is great for Nissan LEAF current and prospective owners to hear that their car has been given this prestigious award.

“In addition to the exhilarating drive, EVs are inherently less expensive to operate than gas-powered cars and the 2018 Nissan LEAF provides more range, content and technology at a lower MSRP than the previous generation, offering customers more value at a lower price,” said Director of Nissan EV Marketing and Sales Strategy, Brian Maragno.
