When looking to buy a new Nissan car in Lake County, we at Mentor Nissan are your trusted new and used Nissan dealership. It seems like 2018 just started, but it is almost May, and that means it’s time to get excited about the next fleet of Nissan cars. Auto show season is winding down in North America, but recently, one new Nissan car made a big splash and left an impression on auto lovers across the country.

At the New York Auto Show, the Nissan brand unveiled the all-new 2019 Nissan Altima. The Nissan Altima has not received a major model refresh since 2012, so this new generation of the sedan is a welcome addition to the Nissan car lineup. This new car is taking cues from the sleek V-Motion 2.0 concept, including new, aggressive headlights and a more futuristic design. It will also offer car buyers more engine options.

The new Nissan Altima will be available in five different trim levels, including the newly introduced Platinum model. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. If you feel that you need more power, a turbo engine is being offered that puts out 248 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be availableĀ in the higher trim levels. Perhaps the most exciting new addition is the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and ProPILOT Assist. This will be the first Nissan Altima with all-wheel drive and semi-autonomous driving tech.

We will have to wait until around November for the 2019 Nissan Altima to hit showrooms, but the wait will be well worth it. In the meantime, stop by Mentor Nissan today and give our new car inventory a browse. We are here to assist and answer any questions!
