Q: Why is test driving a car important?

A: Checking out our inventory of new Nissan cars can be a great first step, but you won’t really know a vehicle until you get behind the wheel and experience how it performs on the road. Whether you’re looking for a 2018 Nissan Altima or a 2014 Nissan Sentra, test driving one of our vehicles will give you a more hands-on experience.

Q: What is the difference between used and certified pre-owned?

A: Buying used or certified pre-owned Nissan cars or SUVs provides you more options and increases your purchasing ability. Certifed pre-owned Nissan cars are usually lightly-used recent models that undergo a 156-point inspection and come with a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report™.  Our selection of used cars come in a variety of years, makes, and models.

 

Service & Parts

Q: How important is car maintenance?

A: Regular maintenance of your Nissan car helps keep it running smoothly and efficiently for longer periods of time. Our service technicians recommend scheduling regular maintenance appointments at our Nissan service center.

Q: How do I know when I need an oil change?

A: Whether you use conventional or synthetic oil, our Nissan service technicians recommend changing your vehicle’s oil every three months, or every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, to ensure thorough lubrication of your engine’s various components.

 

Finance

Q: How do I find out what my trade-in is worth?

A: If you want a quick estimate, we invite you to use our online Trade-in Evaluation tool on our website. However,  the financing department at our Mentor, OH-area Nissan dealership can provide answers about the value of your current vehicle.

Q:  Can I buy a car with no credit? 

A: Regardless of credit status, Mentor Nissan has a wide variety of financing options to help customers drive away in a Nissan vehicle. Our financing department has worked with customers with good credit, bad credit, or no credit.

 

General

Q: Are you open on Sunday?  

A: Mentor Nissan has variable hours on Sunday: from March to October, our dealership is open every Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m, and from November through February, we are open on the last two Sundays of each month from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Our normal hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
