If you are in the market for a new sedan chances are you've looked at a lot of options, or you aren’t quite sure where to start. Here at Mentor Nissan, we want to ensure you make the best decision for your lifestyle and budget. We couldn't be more thrilled with the arrival of the all-new 2020 Nissan Altima. This new premium sedan has it all from the inside, out. It is equipped with new driving technologies as well as safety features that add confidence to every turn. But the new Nissan Altima does have some competition. The Altima is commonly compared to the well-known Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. We want to shed some light on how the Nissan Altima stands out and is the right choice for you.

2020 Nissan Altima vs. Toyota Camry

If you shopped for a midsize sedan in Cleveland OH chances are you are familiar with the Altima and the Camry. Both are made to be reliable and functional but here are the reasons they stand apart.

Cargo Space

If you are looking for space and comfort the Nissan Altima has it. The trunk of the Nissan Altima features 15.4 cubic feet of cargo space, as well as 60/40 split-folding rear seats for added versatility. The Camry comes in on the smaller side with 14.1 cubic feet of cargo space. If you want more trunk space, you'll have to pay extra for a higher trim level that only offers one addition cubic foot of space and split-folding rear seats.

Interior Features

When driving from Cleveland to Euclid you want to be fully connected to the road and what matters most at home. The 2020 Altima's upgrades feature a big redesign. You'll be equipped with NissanConnect® technologies that are tailored to the ways you move. Everything is easily accessible on the eight-inch touch screen, and there are also physical controls for climate control and audio. There is also Apple CarPlay and Android smartphone integration. The 2020 Altima's infotainment system also includes Bluetooth, satellite radio, four USB ports, and voice recognition. Push-button start is standard, and you can even opt for an upgraded audio system and moonroof.

The Toyota Camry only has a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with one USB port, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi host sport and Apple CarPlay. All additional USB ports, satellite radio, a moonroof, and upgraded audio system are added expenses.

2020 Nissan Altima vs. Honda Accord

Both of these SUV alternatives offers a great mix of value and practicality, but we think you'll love the lower price point of the Altima and its reliability

Slippery Roads & Safety

Sometimes the roads in Willoughby can bet a bit dicey, so you want a car this reliable. Nissan takes the win with its all-wheel-drive system. This is a very valuable feature that does not come standard on the Honda Accord.

As mentioned above, Nissan comes with a host of safety features like Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. While both models have been rated five stars when it comes to safety, you'll have more standard features in the 2020 Altima, not offered in the Accord.

The choice is yours to make, but we are always just around the corner to help. We encourage you to give the all-new 2020 Nissan Altima a test drive and see for yourself why we love it so much. If you have already test-driven the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry and need a final comparison, the Altima will excite you in more ways than one.
